Warkworth Pistol Club is a long standing sports club registered as an incorporated society in 1986, operating as a fully sanctioned pistol range affiliated to the Pistol New Zealand national association.

Pistol Shooting is:
- An Olympic and Commonwealth Games approved sport.
- A very safe, cost-effective non-contact sport, which can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages.
- A competitive and fun sport great for the whole family.
- Controlled by a well-organised national body approved by the NZ Police.

If you are new to shooting in general we can guide you through the process of obtaining your Firearms License and becoming active in shooting sports. If you are already a hunter, rifle or shotgun shooter looking for further challenges we can demonstrate pistol shooting to you and show you what is involved to obtain your Handgun License. NZ Police requirements are that you must belong to an affiliated pistol club to obtain your Handgun License.
